The Apps this policy covers
Pharo Apps is a trade name of Tundra Holding ("we", "us", "our"). This policy applies to pharoapps.com and to each of the following Apps, which provide the services described ("the Service") to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores:
Personal information the App collects
When you install an App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account through the Shopify API. We only request the access scopes each App needs:
- Shop information (all Apps) — store name, myshopify domain, store owner name and email, currency, timezone and plan.
- Products, collections and content (Pharo AI SEO: LLMs.txt) — product titles, descriptions, images, collections, pages and blog posts used to generate your llms.txt file.
- Themes and script/pixel access (Google Ads Remarketing, Google Ads Tracking) — permission to add Google’s tags to your storefront and checkout.
- Orders and checkout events (Google Ads Tracking) — order ID, order value, currency and purchased items, used to report conversions to your Google Ads account.
Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed an App:
- Information about you and others who access the App on behalf of your store, such as name and email address, plus billing information handled by Shopify for paid plans.
- Settings you enter in the App, such as Google Ads conversion IDs, conversion labels or remarketing tag IDs.
- For the Google Ads Apps, information about individuals who visit your store — such as IP address, web browser details, time zone, pages viewed, cart and purchase events, and cookies on their device — which is collected by Google’s tags and sent to your Google Ads account.
- Support correspondence you send to us.
We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies. "Cookies" are data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier; for more information, and how to disable cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org. "Log files" track actions occurring on the Site and collect data including IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages and date/time stamps. "Web beacons," "tags," and "pixels" are electronic files used to record how you browse a site — our Google Ads Apps install Google’s tag (gtag.js) and Google’s remarketing pixel on your storefront.
Pharo AI SEO: LLMs.txt does not collect information about individual shoppers.
How do we use your personal information?
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to:
- Communicate with you, including support and service announcements;
- Optimize or improve the App and keep it compatible with Shopify and Google updates;
- Provide you with information relating to our products or services.
Shopper data collected by Google’s tags is used by Google and by you, the merchant, for conversion measurement and, in the case of Google Ads Remarketing, for behavioural advertising (see below). Pharo Apps does not use shopper data to advertise to shoppers and does not sell personal information.
Behavioural advertising
Google Ads Remarketing and Google Ads Tracking enable merchants to use shopper information to provide targeted advertisements through Google Ads. For more information about how targeted advertising works, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s educational page at networkadvertising.org.
You can opt out of targeted advertising by:

Your rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, providing the App you installed), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States.
Residents of California and other regions may have similar rights under local law. Shoppers should direct requests to the merchant whose store they visited, since the merchant controls that data; we will assist merchants in responding. Our Apps support Shopify’s mandatory customer data request, customer redact and shop redact webhooks.
Data retention
We keep store information and App settings for as long as an App is installed. When you uninstall an App, Shopify notifies us and we delete the store’s data from our systems within 48 hours, unless we are required to retain it for legal, accounting or security purposes. Conversion event data sent to Google is retained according to Google’s and your Google Ads account settings.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
